Get Course helps people find and enquire about online courses, and connects prospective students with education providers.

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and the course or study area you are interested in.

With your consent, we and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at our site. We use your personal data on the following legal bases:
To respond to your enquiry (taking steps at your request). When you submit an enquiry, we use your details to process it, to send you a confirmation email with your course details, and to connect you with the education provider offering the course you asked about, so that a student advisor can contact you about your enquiry.
With your consent. Where you have ticked the consent box on our form, a student advisor may contact you by phone, email or SMS about your enquiry and about course offers, and Get Course may send you occasional course news and offers by email. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Where you have accepted marketing cookies via a cookie banner, we use advertising and analytics cookies as described in the Cookies section. You can withdraw either consent at any time: contact consent by emailing us or using the opt-out in any message, and cookie consent via the cookie settings on the relevant site.
Legitimate interests. We process limited data to run, secure and improve our website and services, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, in ways that do not override your rights and freedoms.
The education provider. When you enquire about a course, we pass your enquiry details to the education provider offering that course so they can contact you and process your enquiry. The provider of each course is identified on the relevant course page. Their handling of your data is described in their own privacy policy, available on their website.
Service providers. We use trusted third parties to operate our websites and advertising, including our enquiry-page hosting platform (Swipepages), our consent management platform (CookieYes), and, subject to your cookie consent, Meta (Facebook/Instagram advertising) and Google (advertising and analytics). These providers process data on our behalf or as separate controllers under their own policies.
We do not sell your personal data.
Get Course operates from Australia and your enquiry data is processed on our systems in Australia. For these transfers, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Where an education provider you enquire with is located outside the European Union, their processing of your data is covered by their own privacy policy and safeguards. We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required by law.
On our enquiry pages at my.getcourse.co, a cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set; you can change or withdraw that consent at any time using the cookie settings icon on those pages. On getcourse.co, we do not set analytics or advertising cookies for visitors in Ireland without consent. Necessary cookies, which enable the basic operation of the site, are always active.
